House rules
- Don’t be loud – don’t shout, don’t play drums or other loud instruments etc. – we don’t want complaints from neighbours.
- Keep even more quiet between 22 and 8, respect that people want to sleep. If you want to come home after midnight, please ask the hosts if it’s ok.
- No smoking inside the house. If you want to smoke ask the host to show you the smoking area.
- No drugs of any kind are allowed.
- No parties. One or two beers are ok, but if you want to party, there’s a whole city to do it, please keep the house as a place of rest and peace. And please remember to come back in a state that allows you to keep quiet.
- Keep your valuables with you. We are not expecting thieves or kleptomaniacs and they haven’t visited us so far, but it’s better to be on the safe side. You are the only one responsible for your stuff.
- Always keep your passport/ id with you. Never leave house without it.
- Keep it clean & tidy! We don’t have a cleaning service and we all have to equally create and take care of the house.
- reat the space as if it were your own home – if you cause any damage, you will be held financially responsible for the damage caused.
- No pets & children.
- Sign your food! Any food that you bring to the house needs to be signed with your name – that helps us to keep space in the fridge orginised. When someone leaves food behind, or something is not signed – it belongs to community and will be eaten.
- Autostop House is a place we all create, so take part! Fix something broken if you can, clean something if you see it needs it, bring/buy something if you see we are missing it (e.g. toilet paper, soap)
If you find any of these rules too hard to follow, this is not a place for you – please don’t come.
Before you come:
- Please let us know before you come and wait for our confirmation – we want to host everybody, but we also have limited space and want to make sure it’s possible to function in the house.
- Don’t forget to bring your own sleeping mat & bag – we don’t have couches/mattress nor blankets etc
- Don’t share or publish address info anywhere.
